RE: Screen door, plexi glass insets

I will take some pics tonight and post. The pieces are held in place with mirror clips so are easily removed for cleaning or whatever you like. All I know is the WIFE is happy....I am happy!!!

RE: Screen door, plexi glass insets

Mine has been on for over a year and no cloudiness yet. The light is wonderful and I don't really get a glare from the sun because of the awning. If and when I do, I will look at maybe tinting it.

RE: Screen door, plexi glass insets

I actually removed my screen door with the 9 screws and took it to a glass dealer and had them cut it for me. Looks great and we love it. Now run the air with the main door open. I put weatherstripping around the pieces after I got it back.

Trailer Life Road Atlas

Received my new atlas the other day and was shocked to see it started out on page 17. The first 16 pages were missing. Conacted them and they are sending a new one. Customer support was fantastic.

RE: From Travel trailer to 5er

My wife and I started with a used TT and then went to a used (previously owned) 5er that was 3 yrs old. Used it for 7 years and now have the one in signature. Just make sure all systems work and go have fun. Life is very short so grab ahold and enjoy the ride.

RE: replace 5er brakes

I replaced the brakes on the Jayco whenm I owned it. It was a lot easier to replace back plate and all at one time. Bought from Dexter and all you had were 4 bolts and hook up the wires. Changed out all four wheels in less than 3 hours.

RE: Questions about Keystone Challenger 33DBB; and TV

Purchased the Challenger in signature almost 2 yrs ago. We love the trailer and it's construction. Very pleased with it. I have done mods of 2 nd air/ slide out awnings, plexiglass in the screen door, satellite for master bedroom, shocks. Very few little problems with it. Pulled by dually in signature. Full size, 8 ft bed, 4 door, diesel dually with mods of turbo and EGT gauges, 12 tire pressure monitoring system and a Magellan GPS system. Doesn't know it is there. Any questions, let me know..

RE: Tire pressure monitor

Ordered it last week and got word they are on back order until 21 Feb. They are giving me an extra 2 sensors for the waiting time so get 12 sensors instead of the 10 tire system I paid for so now I have one for each spare, on trailer and on truck. Cool

RE: Tire pressure monitor

Thanks for the info, kaiserrw.
I went to the site and ordered mine also. $415 for the 10 tire one so we'll see how it goes. I like the idea of temperature and tire pressure readings for each.

RE: Challanger by kestone need opinions

I have the 2007 35CKQ and LOVE it. Has been terrific and very minor items. I recaulked all windows myself and found several places that had holes. The quality of unit is good. Love the room. I installed another satellite hook up in the master bedroom for the second receiver and then installed the second air and awnings over each slide. Working on putting an electric plug in the toilet room to put a night light and air freshner in there. Wish they would have put an ac vent in there since it gets pretty warm in the summer. Have a great time with your unit.

RE: Hands down, Favorite mod

Believe the best one was installing plexiglass on the screen door so you can have the regular door open all the time. Put small weatherstripping around plexiglass and kept door open this weekend when we were camping with temps during the day in the 50's.
